Functional description

The intended use of the Pressure regulator E53-VCR is pressure relief of a gas from an inlet pressure to a fixed or adjustable outlet pressure.

This pressure reduction is performed by the pressure regulator. It is equipped with a pressure gauge to show the outlet pressure. The outlet pressure is set to the desired value by turning the of the handwheel on the pressure regulator and must not exceed the defined maximum value given on the label.

In the case of the double-stage pressure regulation present here, the set outlet pressure remains virtually constant as the inlet pressure changes.
