The business unit (Gas Supply Systems) will be independent and operates from the new facilities in Frankfurt am Main.
At the beginning of 2010 the decision was made to move Spectron Gas Suppy Systems to new facilities in the Frankfurt area.
The business had been growing strongly in recent years and an expansion was inevitable.
It was important for all personnel that the whole company, including production and R&D remained in Germany, especially in the actual region. This means that all jobs are preserved and the complete work force, including the very experienced and knowledgeable staff are still available as a team. Therefore we are very happy that our new premises are just 400 meters from the former production site in the Lärchenstrasse.
Quality and service are significant distinctive Spectron features, which we will extend more and more in the future. The existing highly motivated team is ready for these challenges. Permanent improvements were mandatory in all areas, for this reason our production was upgraded.
There is a new clean room: Class ISO 5.0 for the assembly of Spectropur components for ultra high purity gases up to Grade 6.0.
In five sections the new ultra sonic cleaning machine washes all component parts for use with high purity gases up to Grade 6.0.
The assembly facility was also optimized. Using “Kanban” and modern methods “Just In Time” (JIT) production will be increased. The capacity for production is larger and extendable as necessary in future. Despite ongoing cost pressures we are able to deliver high quality products with excellent service at competitive prices.
The large product portfolio of Spectron Gas Supply Systems includes equipment from technical gases to semi conductor gases, this will be extended. It is absolutely necessary to be flexible and to follow the needs, requests and demands our customers place upon us.
We will set up a new room for our gas supply seminars that shows the theory, and makes practical training a pleasant experience. Purge devices, automatic change-over systems, including adjustments can be experienced by all participants under real conditions.
Spectron created the basis for solid development and improvement of Gas Supply Systems. We believe that these decisions are also for your benefit, and that we will have greater cooperation in the future.
